About C&I Boiler
C&I Boiler is a mobile 24/7 outage company that specializes in repairs and maintenance of powerplants and facilities. We are an ASME and NBIC certified contractor for new installations, repairs, and fabrication of pressure part and mechanical systems.
C&I Boiler Repair's home office is located in Montoursville, PA (a suburb of Williamsport, PA) and our staff has the capability of exceeding your boiler house needs with 24 hour emergency service for our outage customers. Whether the project is major or small-scale, C&I Boiler Repair completes the job at hand with quality and integrity, and has the components (supervision, manpower, tools, etc.) to finish every task within your outage completion time-frame.
We are proud to offer many services which including Rigging, Welding, Fabrication, Piping, Industrial & Major Boiler Repair, and Refractory Installation just to name a few. All of our services are completed by experienced hard working C&I Boiler employees who take pride in all that they do.
Our Origins
David W. Conklin founded C&I Boiler Repair Inc. in 1977 and has dedicated over 45 years to the power industry. After graduating from The Williamsport Technical Institute (Mechanical Drafting, 1965) he worked as a Mechanical Draftsman for E. Keeler Co.
Thereafter, Mr. Conklin participated in a corresponding study in mechanical engineering through the ICS (International Correspondence School) before starting his own business with his wife Judith T. Conklin.
Mr. Conklin was named Pennsylvania College of Technology (formerly Williamsport Technical Institute) Outstanding Alumnus in 2001, and helped create The Alumni of Williamsport Technical Institute Endowed Scholarship Fund to demonstrate his appreciation for the academic and financial help received as a student at WTI.
